Life has been so nice to me :)

Alhamdulilah, thank you very much my Dearest Allah SWT for all The Blessings and Loves given to me, to my parents, to my family, friends, and other people around me. I always try to Thank God and remember God everytime, in every situation I am currently facing. It makes my mind can relax a bit.

This is a peaceful slice of life, I think. I mean like, okay I’ve been facing many hectic situations where anger was there but I keep and keep praying that God will help me solve the problems, and God did it, always does :)

Thank you very much, Allah SWT, for Your kind attention.

I keep remember my mom ever told me:

“I might be far away from you, but Allah SWT will always be with you, will always be close to you”

Just had a great long weekend, I’ve ever spent. Basically it’s just like some other weekends when I met some of my friends or maybe had a great time with my family, and do some of works or assignments.. But it was just, different somehow, and I like it :)

Started from Friday night, went out with some of my crazy office mates, we had a dinner at T-Grill Rasuna Epicentrum, chose the restaurant because of 30% discount for any product, lol. Had a great time chit chat and laughing ‘til drop, these bunch of people were playing hide and seek with me, damn -_-; lol. But truly, I like the night so much! Laughing ‘til drop, we named it.

These people were playing hide and seek while I was in the toilet, okay, nasib boook…

Okay, so after spent a very very very crazy night with my office mates, on Saturday I spent it with my Perth buddies :D I miss those times soooo bad, guys, really want to turn back time, cause I do miss Perth so much! It’s good to be able to meet you again :)

Meet Nads and Icha again :) Nads used to be my housemate at that time, she is like my sister and also someone I can really count on. Icha used to stay for like a week before she went back for good at that time, and we also spent some great quality time together, laughing together til drop :P 

With Iqbal and Deder! Iqbal is 4 years younger than me but I found it very nice to talk and share many things to him. I know Deder just 2 weeks before I went back for good from Perth, and we just never know that we still keeping in touch up until now, alhamdulilah :) These two boys are really great friends of mine and we also had some moments laughing too much!

Love you all! It was a great day be able to spent some quality times together with you guys, reminiscing Perth memories will always entertain us. Good luck for Iqbal who still got 3 semesters left and Deder for his master degree. Icha for her job interview and Nadia for her job as well, and her planned master degree. 

Okay, so that’s it for Saturday since at night I spend it again with my laptop doing my works and assignments, LOL. 

On Sunday, I spent it with my campus mates working on our assignment. We went to Taman Suropati and looking for some people we can interview regarding their weekend activities, we found it nice as well. 

Arief was recording this boy playing “The Only Exception” by Paramore. 

Arief was also struggling to hear what this man were talking about, okay so the interview session turned out be the longest one while we were actually already planned to leave the place, LOL. 

I’m so amazed by this place, many creative people inside! Many people taking pictures, painting, and playing music. Really a suggested place for those who are art lovers and also those who are looking for something different than malls. 

Sunday night we went to my Grandma’s house but I didn’t take any picture there. I love that house after being renovated, it feels like somewhere else.. :D The environment is chilling and different than my house environment, I just like it :)

And today, Monday, I was working on my assignments, yeap the managing creativity assignment, makes me so tired and in deep needs of sleeping but have to submit the observation part to my friend :P she’s waiting for the dateline! 

At night, had a family quality time at Q-Smoke House Setiabudi One. Okay so Papa paid the bill, let’s order Wagyu Steak my favorite steak hahahaha *typically daughter, LOL. Happy birthday once again to my Mama! And we also took some pictures, here they are:

Okay and so that’s it for tonite, must go to sleep otherwise tomorrow could be a disaster if I can’t wake up earlier in the morning. Reality bites! Tomorrow is another full day of working and school-ing.

“Bapak”

Entah sajak kapan gw mulai memanggil beliau dengan sebutan itu, karena sebelumnya selalu memanggil Papa, sekarang gw biasa memanggil beliau bapak dan juga papa, tergantung lagi ingin manggil apa sih sebenarnya.

Bapak, orangnya pendiam, tidak banyak berbicara kecuali sama keluarga sendiri, terutama dengan mama yang katanya “my best friend forever” awww so sweet :). Orang yang mempunyai banyak sekali ilmu dan sudah banyak mengalami berbagai dinamika kehidupan, pengalamannya akan hidup menurut gw sudah sangat banyak… sangat resourceful, dan bijaksana. Terlebih hal lain yang sangat sangat gw kagumin adalah kepintarannya dan pengetahuannya untuk berbagai macam hal, dari pelajaran2 kuliah, research, teknologi pastinya, sampai mengenai hubungan pertemanan dan bagaimana menyukai orang sewajarnya. Orang yang sangat sabar dan sangat mandiri dalam mengurusi segenap keperluan hidupnya.

Bokap gw, bekerja di salah satu perusahaan pembuat komputer ternama. Tetapi beliau tidak bekerja di Jakarta, jadi gw enggak bisa bertemu setiap hari. Paling hanya sekitar 2-3 minggu sekali setiap beliau berkunjung ke tanah air. Dan itu adalah minggu2 bahagia di mana bokap sedang berkunjung ke Jakarta.

Banyak orang yang bilang kalau anak cewek dijaga banget sama bapaknya, anak cewek itu pasti lebih dekat sama bapaknya ketimbang ibunya, bapak itu galak ke anak cewek, atau pernah dengar juga bapak itu paling gak rela kalau anak ceweknya udah punya banyak teman cowok. 

Semuanya benar! Kecuali yang galak. 

Menurut gw, bokap gw tidak galak sama sekali ke gw, maupun ke abang gw. Mungkin lebih tegas aja ke abang gw tapi bukan berarti dia galak, sama sekali tidak. Tapi yang jelas, gw tau kapan bokap udah enggak suka sama apa yang gw perbuat atau bokap udah enggak setuju sama keinginan gw.. I know him so well nampaknya.

Enggak terasa kalau udah dari gw kelas 1 SMP (sekitar tahun 2000-2001) bokap mulai bekerja di Singapore dan kita jadi enggak bisa tinggal serumah. Rasa kangen akan bokap gw saat itu enggak tertolongkan, kayaknya setiap bokap balik ke Singapore kalau habis berkunjung ke Jakarta bikin gw pengen nangis banget. Alhamdulilahnya bokap rajin nelpon setiap hari meski yang pasti beliau ajak bicara adalah nyokap gw keseringan dan ngobrol sm gw kalau gw lagi enggak sibuk aja. 

Lambat laun teknologi berkembang dan sekarang kita selalu whatsapp-an kalau misalnya beliau lagi enggak sama gw. Bokap emang canggih, enggak kayak anaknya yang pasti panik kalau pakai teknologi yang enggak umum. Haha. That’s something I adore the most too. 

Sekarang ini mungkin gw udah lebih bisa berpikir sendiri tanpa bentar2 harus ada bokap di samping gw, tapi tetep aja, ternyata keinginan gw untuk bokap gw bisa cepat balik lagi di Indo dan for good semakin lama semakin besar. Akan lebih tenang jika beliau ada di sini, dan gw bisa lebih cepat mendapatkan informasi atau bantuan2 lainnya. Baru gw sadari ternyata gw yang makin manja, karena gw merasa kehidupan gw semakin berubah dan menyadari bahwa gw butuh banget kehadiran beliau untuk bisa mendengarkan cerita-cerita gw. 

Singkatnya, beliau adalah role model gw. Dalam segala hal, dimulai dari pengetahuan untuk bahan kuliah, untuk gaya bekerja, untuk kepintaran dalam menyerap segala ilmu, dalam bersikap seperti misalnya open-minded, knowledgeable, witty, resourceful, technology-minded, dan satu hal yang gw suka adalah liberal! Terlebih lainnya, he’s a kind of man that I’m looking for a guy. I mean, I will be delighted if a guy looks like him, especially in terms of “inner behaviour” apalah namanya itu. If someone has these kinds of personality, man, I’m so looking for you! :P 

And last but not least, bokap adalah orang pertama yang akan gw tanyakan mengenai sesuatu yang gw ragu, intinya sebelum membuat keputusan pasti kebanyakan referensi gw adalah dari beliau, terlebih soal pekerjaan dan juga kuliah, dan juga membeli barang2 elektronik..
